Stage Master Bakhtiyar Adamzhan

From 2003 to 2011, he studied at the Almaty Choreographic School named after A. V. Seleznev.
From 2011 to 2013, he was a ballet soloist at the Abai Kazakh State Academic Opera and Ballet Theatre.
Since 2013, he has been a ballet soloist at Astana Opera, and since 2015 he has been the theatre’s principal ballet soloist.

— Diploma holder of the KIBC International Ballet Competition (South Korea);

— First Prize Laureate of the International Creative Youth Festival “Shabyt” (Astana);
— Second Prize Laureate of the International Ballet Competition “Grand Prix of Siberia” (Krasnoyarsk);
— Grand Prix winner of the International Ballet Competition in Istanbul (Turkey);
— First Prize Laureate of the International Dance Competition in Seoul (South Korea);
— Grand Prix winner of the International Ballet Competition in Astana;
— Grand Prix winner of the VKIBC International Ballet Competition (New York, USA);
— First Prize Laureate of the International Ballet and Choreographers Competition in Moscow.

Honors and Awards

Laureate of the national theatre award “Sahnager” in the nomination “Best Opera Soloist” (Association of Theatres of Kazakhstan).

Laureate of the State Youth Prize “Daryn” of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the category “Theatre”.

Recipient of the State Scholarship in the field of culture and arts.

By the decree of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, he was awarded the honorary title “Honored Worker of Kazakhstan” for his contribution to the development of national culture.

Awarded the medal “Halyk Algysy”.

Awarded the commemorative medal “30 Years of Independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan.”

Awarded the Order of Kurmet for significant contributions to the socio-economic and cultural development of the country.
