Anvara Aripovna Sadykova

Without the slightest exaggeration, this figure is truly iconic — both for our platform and for the choreographic world of the country. Her achievements and contribution to culture are difficult to overstate, though no one has ever tried: the list of her accomplishments speaks for itself, reflecting the enduring legacy that lives — and will continue to live — in generations of dancers and choreographers of Kazakhstan. Having connected her life with dance from early childhood, Anvara opened the right door — both figuratively and literally. It happened on a Sunday morning in her hometown, Balkhash. Her love for dance grew stronger every day. Along with this creative devotion, a determined character built on clearly defined principles was taking shape within her.

Principle One — the ability to say “YES”!
Anvara Aripovna acknowledges this trait as both a personal weakness and a powerful asset. On one hand, constant readiness to agree may sometimes collide with inner beliefs, influencing one’s state of mind. On the other hand, her ability to say “yes” consistently led her to new accomplishments, experiments, and opportunities. Whether guided by curiosity or driven by a passion for discovery, she moved forward relentlessly, eventually realizing that every milestone in her life became possible thanks to timely agreement.

Principle Two — to dream!
Even if you do not know how to dream, dream about learning to do it. Because when you have no dreams, there is nothing to come true.

Principle Three — to work, to labor tirelessly.
Even when success seems inevitable, continuing the work is essential. History will remember Anvara Aripovna as the pioneer of neo-Kazakh choreography. Thanks to her artistic vision, Kazakh folk dance acquired refinement, plasticity, grace, and charm. Today, many of her followers continue to develop the direction she created. But even decades later, it is clear how tremendous the effort was before neo-Kazakh choreography became understood and recognized.

“To work — it sounds ordinary, but that is the truth! I did it because it had to be done!”

Principle Four — not only to achieve goals, but to enjoy the process without losing that feeling.
Exploring the creative path of Anvara Aripovna, one might assume she is a person of process — as many creative individuals are. Yet even after reading the fourth page and looking back at the first, it becomes evident that each of her processes invariably led to results. Daily creative routine always had room for genuine fascination. The process drew her in so deeply that she had no time to think of it as work.

Being a teacher is one thing, being a performer is another, being a researcher is a third, and staging miniatures and compositions is a fourth direction. These four seemingly different components always merged into a harmonious whole. As the classic says: “There are only two disappointments in life — not achieving your goals or achieving them.” Discovering such a profound personality as Anvara Aripovna Sadykova will inspire your own creative pursuits and provide a powerful mentor whose vast knowledge and experience we will continue to present on our platform.
